Jaydon’s springtime dinner party

We decided to invite some of our friends over for dinner. The weather was perfect for an evening dinner party outside.

Jaydon got the opportunity to co host the dinner. Three of his friends, Ryley, Juliet and Bethenny came with their parents.

The children had a great time playing and interacting with each other in the backyard.

After dinner Jaydon decides to take one last trip around the yard before going inside for the night.

The dinner party was  a huge success. Both the parents and the children enjoyed the food and the time together.

We are already looking forward to the next event.

It is always interesting to watch two toddlers talk and interact. I always like to give a play-by-play as if I know what they are talking about.

This is the kind of “play date” that I try to go for, where families, and not just the kids, create relationships with one another. I don’t do this much, but I try to get my friends with kids over for dinner so that yes, the kids can play with one another, but also so that they see their “village”; a group of folks including kids of all ages, and tons of adults.

Looks like you guys had a great time!
