Music Review: Favorite Toddler Tunes by Baby Genius

Baby Genius: Favorite Toddler Tunes

Baby Genius: Favorite Toddler Tunes

Ever since Jaydon was born we would occasionally play one of his baby music CDs in order to expose him to new sounds. During bed times we would play some of the songs to help him relax and fall asleep. Most of the CDs however  just played music, few had lyrics.

In April on Jaydon’s first birthday, my mom gave us a toddler music pack containing 3 CDs. They contained a mix of children’s music and nursery rhymes by Baby Genius called Favorite Toddler Tunes.

Some of the songs are classics, “Little Teapot.” “Where Has My Little Dog Gone” and “I’ve Been Working On The Railroad.” Others are a little more uncommon. At least for me. “Kookaburra,” Little Bunny Foo Foo” and “The Barnyard Song.”

The CDs also include “Sing and Play With Me” songs. Songs that children learn and repeat. “The Itsy Bitsy Spider,” B-I-N-G-O” and “Head Shoulders, Knees, & Toes.” Most of the “Sing and Play With Me” songs Jaydon has already learning at his Babygarten classes at the library. When these songs start playing you can see Jaydon stop what he is doing and pay attention. It is very interesting reaction to witness.
