The little adventurers poem

Little Jaydon got to spend the day at Palmetto Islands County Park this past weekend. The park is full of trails and boardwalks that twist and turn throughout the forest and marshlands. It’s a great place for a family to spend the day.

Jaydon returning from his adventure carries with him a palm branch and a small stick.

The little adventurers poem

The sun was hot and the trails were long

but Jaydon knew he was strong.

He saw birds and squirrels, little crabs and mussels,

trees with large leaves and wind blowing through the weeds.

Jaydon pointed and touched at everything that was new,

and said “hi” to every dog and owner who walked by too.

He explored the park from one end to the other,

until he was too tired and finally wanted his mother.

Nice poem! He reminds me of my son at that age, wanting to see everything, know what it is, how it works, etc. then on to the next thing. A whirlwind! In our case we’d be tired way before he was. He was constant energy.

I just found your blog- what a cute little boy! He’s very lucky to have such a cool dad. Love the poem!
