Toddlers Jaydon and Ryley visit Bee City

Jaydon and his best friend Ryley visit a local petting zoo called Bee City.

Bee City is full of exotic animals. Some you can pet and feed like lamas, alpacas, deer, goats, sheep and bunnies. And others you are glad are in cages, such as alligators, spiders, snakes and monkeys.

Christmas cookie decorating party

Bethany, Jaydon, Juliet, and Lindsay decorate Christmas cookies.

Jaydon starts decorating his cookie with red icing.

The kids, and parents had a great time baking and decorating Christmas cookies.

And now the fun part, eating the cookies!

Jaydon wonders if Juliet knows there’s a mistletoe above them?

Decorating his first Christmas Tree

Jaydon’s first two Christmases were celebrated at his aunts house. He was too young to understand what was going on so we did not decorate a tree at our home.

This year at 2 and a half Jaydon is talking and asking about Christmas. The lights are currently his favorite topic and whenever he sees them Jaydon gets excited.

We decided to put up a small tree that sat on a table so Jaydon’s courious fingers could not touch and grab. Since we did not have decorations for a tiny tree the three of us went to the store where Jaydon helped pick out some of the ornaments.

After returning home I added the lights. Then Jaydon excited, helped mommy and I trim the tree as Christmas music played in the background. The three of us had a great time.

Christmas Lights in the Park

Jaydon, mommy and daddy celebrated the start of the Christmas season with a Holiday Driving Tour and the Holiday Fair at the Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

The tour featured enormous animated light displays depicting all the favorite Christmas characters and scenes. After the driving tour we parked and took a tractor ride to the Holiday Fair. There we walked around the park enjoying various Christmas displays, crafts, art, music and a tour of the Old Santee Canal Park Interpretive Center.

The Old Santee Canal Park, Holiday Fair was full of fun Christmas lights and scenes.

Jaydon sits in front of a fox in the Interpretive Center.

Jaydon loves to look at all the lights.

Jaydon takes a break after touring the Interpretive Center where he got to prepare a bag of reindeer feed for Santa’s Reindeer.
